Can I use my own picture/art?
Absolutely, we encourage the use of your own art. It's wonderful to take your photos/ art and place them around the house to enjoy on a daily basis. See the next two questions for more information about using your own art. Please note, we are a family run business and will not reproduce offensive images. When you use your own art/photographs, this is a custom mural. You can not order a custom mural on-line, so please call us at 866-913-8625 or so that we can discuss your specific project.

Are there additional fees to use my own picture/art?
There may be additional art work fees if you use your own picture. It will depend on the type of image that you have and the quality of the image. If we have to touch out a lot of scratches and dust, we charge $50 / hour for artwork touch up. Each individual piece is different, so please contact us about your specific project.

What size picture do you need if I use my own picture?
We can take your actual photograph (3 x 5 up to 8 x 10), a negative, a slide, or a digital image. Slides give us the best quality output. If you have a digital image that you want to use, please see our Using Digital Images page for a full discussion on file size limitations. If you want to use a negative, providing a color picture with the negative will ensure better color for your picture. We cannot take APS negatives.

I have a picture from a professional photographer, can I use that?
You can use the picture ONLY if you have written permission from the photographer. We can sometimes help you gain this permission. Most photographers do not offer the products that we offer and are often happy to give their permission. Sometimes, the photographers will not give their permission. The original photographer has the final answer. A fee may have to be paid to the photographer for the use of their image.
